CUSTOM SMUGGLER

Smugglers are probably the least armored of any Sins of Korriban characters. They would want  to move quick and not be weighed down by armour or a lot of equipment.

ALL CUSTOM COSTUMES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A CHARACTER “INSPIRATION” PHOTO ALSO  SUBMITTED WITH IT TO REFERENCE YOUR “IN UNIVERSE” RESEARCH. 

Must reference one Canon or Legends Smuggler character in construction and build. All  costumes and applications are judged on a case-by-case basis. Deviations from the  above CRL can and will be accepted when medical conditions require it.


Required:

Maximum of 2 “borrowed” pieces of armor/costume.  

Base Shirt

  • Base shirt should be of simple design.  
  • Mandarin collar is allowed. 
  • Sleeveless, short sleeve, or long sleeve are accepted.
    • No buttons allowed.  
    • No T-shirts or real-world logos. 

Vest/Jacket/Long Coat

  • Should be made from leather or leather like material or canvas-like fabric.  
  • Zippers should be of low profile design to minimize visibility or hidden.
    • No Buttons/button holes.
  • Clasps or snaps if necessary.
    • Snaps should be minimal and painted to match the surrounding material or hidden. 
  • Quilted fabric of contrasting color may be applied to shoulders, arms, or sides. 

Pants

  • No Jeans. 
  • Modern military style are permitted but must be solid color and exposed rear pockets should be removed or hidden.  
  • No buttons/button holes on rear.  
  • Stripe or Corellian Blood Stripe are acceptable along seam line of pants. 
  • Legs are typically tucked into the boot/spat.

Flight Suit (Optional)

  • Flight suits as an option should have back pockets removed. 
  • Zippers removed, hidden, or minimized. 

Boots

  • Length should be above the ankle up to just below the knee.  
  • Leather or leather like material.
    • Other materials may be permitted on a case by case basis.  
  • No exposed laces, buttons, or zippers (inner leg zipper accepted). 
  • Spats or enclosed shin armour accepted in lieu of full boot.  

Belt

  • May be either waist or low slung belt  
    • If low slung belt is used a secondary waist belt should also be used.  
    • May a have large metal (or metal appearance) buckle on front.  
  • Should have at least 1 (one) accessory attached.
  • Imperial Officer belt is allowed.
    • Code Disk must be removed from buckle. 

Holster

  • May be waist or thigh mounted from belt or solid design attached to leg.
  • May enclose primary weapon (Traditional) or hold weapon magnetically (TOR)  

Weapon

  • Primary weapon must be of blaster pistol or hand-cannon design, scope is optional.  
  • Must resemble Canon/Legends style of blasters. 
  • Nerf guns must be highly modified and no longer resemble the base weapon.
    • Base weapon must be modified to fit with “SWarsy” aesthetic. 

Accessories

  • Communication Device
  • Slicing tool
  • Droid scrambler
  • Datapad
  • Pouch
  • Macrobinoculars 
  • Grenade/Detonator
  • Customized pendant or rank badge (from former service)
  • Primary  Weapon ammunition
  • Secondary Weapon ammunition (only applies if secondary  weapon is present)
  • Sabacc dice
  • Droid Caller
  • etc.

Weathering

  • Costume weathering must be consistent throughout.  
    • Can range from pristine to very weathered (so long as can be explained). 

Additional Options:

Secondary Weapon

  • May be blaster pistol, hand-cannon, scattergun, shotgun, or blaster carbine.
    • If secondary weapon is one-handed, an appropriate holster is required.
    • May be attached to existing gun belt, bandoleer, or around ankle. 

Melee Weapon

  • May be simple knife in design or a virbo-weapon.
    • Inclusion of a melee weapon does not remove primary blaster requirement.
    • Lightsaber/darksaber is not allowed. 
    • Lightwhips are allowed. 

Bandolier

  • Should have 1 or more Accessories attached and/or holster for secondary weapon. 
  • May be placed over or under jacket/vest

Hat

  • Wide brim hats like ones Cade Bane has worn accepted.  
    • No traditional Cowboy hats will be accepted.  
    • Should have customizations such as antennas, armour plating, or gadgets attached. 

Goggles/Vision Enhancement Devices

  • May be worn, attached to optional hat, or slung around neck.  
    • No swimming goggles.  
    • Sports goggles should be modified beyond immediate recognition  

Gloves

  • No real-world logos should be visible.  
  • Comm pad may be installed on cuff.  
  • Armour hand plate may be attached. 

Reinforced/Exterior Padded Shoulders

  • Quilted padding or leather-like pauldrons may be attached over jacket/vest

Cape

  • A cape covering shoulders and full back may be used for flourish and flash.

Minimal Armour Additions

  • Armor coverage should not exceed 3 of the following regions:
    • shoulders
    • arms
    • forearms
    • chest
    • abdomen
    • back
    • groin
    • thighs
    • knees
    • shins  
  • No helmets (unless alien physiology requires one) 

Alien Physiology

  • Masks or prosthetics resembling canon/legends species may be used.  
  • Body paint may be used.  
  • All alien additions must be of high quality and appearance.
